H-BRIDGE THIRTEEN LEVEL INVERTER USING REDUCED NUMBER OF SWITCHES FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

The single phase cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter (Thirteen level) is designed for industrial applications and has a decreased number of switches. Cascaded Multilevel Inverters are widely used in the electric utility industry motors. When these inverters directly drives, THD contents output voltage extremely important since performance drive highly dependent on quality applied to it. symmetric asymmetric two forms that use input from various sources. Only one (with four switches) three additional switches make up proposed topology, which total seven 13-level voltage. Drives renewable energy benefit new topology. For different layers inverters, determined by modulation index. 9.18% using PWM approach, analysed MATLAB/SIMULINK. topology been tested utilising 13 level DSPIC 30F2010 controller.
